Application Guidelines
Selecting the Right HAM
For best results, we recommend selecting HAMs based on your load requirements with a 1.5-2x safety factor. For example, if your application requires a 50N force, the HAM-75 would be appropriate.
When working with antagonistic pairs, select HAMs with matched force ratings to ensure balanced operation. For joints requiring higher precision, using HAMs on the upper end of their force rating is not recommended.
